Mike’s background is unique to the local judicial system and is based on 35 years of well-rounded experience.  He has worked with a variety of clients on a breadth of legal issues:  family matters, personal injury claims, criminal defense, juvenile problems, probate matters, as well as commercial, contractual and real estate issues.  Mike also comes from a law enforcement family and is able to fairly listen to both sides of the issue without compromising his strong principles.

Mike has experience on both sides of the bench, having served as municipal court judge for Derby and Valley Center, as well as serving as municipal court judge for Kechi.

Mike is committed to ensuring the justice system continues in the tradition of fairness and equality.  His integrity and intelligence, along with his solid reputation for providing expert legal advice, make him the best candidate for this position.

As judge, Mike will be prepared to deal with the technical issues of the trial as he seeks the truth in each case, considering only the merits of the case and not political influence.
